For several years QuayQuip has made harbour equipment for new projects at Sint Maarten, including Sint Maarten Cruise Terminal.
Two new quays have been build. The Small Vessel Cargo Quay is for loading and unloading goods, and the Tender Jetty will welcome tourists to the town harbour, or to the Philipsburg beach by water taxi.

The Passenger Terminal at Sint Maarten received 32 sets of large, QCL1450 Cell fender systems. The new systems were installed onto a new jetty purpose-built to receive the largest new cruise vessels.
Systems were equipped with robust closed-box steel panels faced with blue UHMW-PE. All chain and anchor systems were also supplied, along with ETG (‘Tricorn’) fenders to create mooring points the entire length of the jetty.

QuayQuip, daughter company of Eurotech Benelux, also delivered for Saint Maarten Port 22 ton M70 and M39 tie rods for anchoring sheet pile in several lengths, including connecting (pour– in) parts, turnbuckles and joints.
